Director Mani Ratnam Hospitalized for Heart Problems – Details Inside

The director, producer, screenwriter known for his work in Indian cinema Guru, Yuva and many other films, was recently admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Mumbai after complaining about heart problems.

Gopala Ratnam Subramaniam, better known by his screen name, Mani Ratnam, had suffered a heart attack while shooting one of his best-known films. According to Bollywoodlife.com, the director, who has a history of heart problems, suffered a heart attack on the sets of his 2004 film, Yuva. He was again hospitalized in 2015 because of a heart problem

On the labor front, the 63-year-old director is currently occupied by Ponniyin Selvan . The film is based on the novel by Amarar Kalki and revolves around the kingdom of Raja Raja Cholan. Although more details about the film are not yet known, it is reported that the film could have big names such as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chiyaan Vikram, Amitabh Bachchan, Amala Paul, Jayaram Ravi, Karthi and Anushka Shetty.
