The franchise Men in Black received a continuation / restart with MIB: International with Thor: Ragnarok Duo Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson as the most recent Two heroes in alien battles, replacing those of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones / Josh Brolin.
Continuing this franchise is already quite nostalgic, with many Easter eggs and references to older movies. But according to star Tessa Thompson, a reference seemed to be one step away.
This reference? Probably Will Smith's greatest bloodline Will Smith ever made.

Addressing The Hollywood Reporter Thompson stated that she was not on board with her character M delivering her own version of "I make this look look good ".
"I wish I did not say it," she explained. "In fact, I think someone asked me – just as an option – and I said no.
" M is simply different from this character. Yes, I was really aware of too much nostalgia. Also, inside of that, there have been times when I thought: "Let's go" there. "
Thompson stated that she was at the origin of this restart of Men in Black because, compared to the original, this film presents the world with a modern sensibility thanks to a female role and a couple man / woman who presents them as equals and without any romance
