The cousin of Prince Narula's actor, Rupesh, died after "accidentally drowning" on a beach in Canada. Several media sites, including India Today and DNA, cited a report in TellyChakkar. Rupesh, who apparently could not swim, was celebrating Canada Day with his friends at Wasaga Beach and was swept away by a strong current. Rupesh was married three months ago and his wife was soon to join him in Canada, the reports said. Prince Narula was shooting for the next season of Nach Baliye when he was informed of the death of his cousin. According to media reports, Prince could not hold back his tears after hearing the news and he left with his wife, actress Yuvika Chowdhary, for Canada to join the family.
Police authorities told CBC that Rupesh had gone swimming alone and after failed to return an exhaustive search was conducted by police and the emergency team to search for him. He was removed from the water and the emergency services administered him CPR. Rupesh was later taken to the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. According to a report in First Post, Rupesh, who was living in Ontario, will be brought back to his home town of Mohali.
Prince Narula is the winner of reality TV shows of MTV Roadies 12 . MTV Splitsvilla 8 and Bigg Boss 9 . He made his television debut with Badho Bahu while he was last seen in Naagin 3 .
