One day justice delivered Movie rated: Note of the movie: The half of a star [19659007] A retired judge, his hands tied in the audience room, throws the pearl on a group of criminals gone crazy.
This is not a bad premise for a spot-the-the-just thriller, led by the loyal Anupam Kher.
Judge Tyagi (Kher) of Ranchi is an elderly man who goes on a morning walk to chat with a man. Big cop (Mishra: it's hard to watch a movie these days without banging on it) who is trying to lose weight. Some of the city's most prominent citizens are disappearing: a couple of doctors disappear first, followed by a businessman who owns a shabby hotel, and a few others. Who is behind?
No reward for guiding the identity of the culprit, because it's not a secret. Kher strives to obtain a belief by changing his body language according to where he stands: genial-grandfather-like versus straight and determined, even if he is difficult to buy him an expert in torture, surrounded by barbed wire and sharp and threatening objects.
But the arrival of Esha Gupta as a policeman of the hard criminal branch takes the little credibility that the film had managed until then and throws it out the window. Gupta makes her entry into a scintillating item number, then pbades to a policewoman with her eyebrow defeated, with the desperate pout, which is unleashed, which is unleashed through all that remains of the film, trying to "solve" the "case", and we are left with our head in our hands. And poor Mishra, who is supposed to be his 'junior', is trying to control his laughter.
At some point, she asks: Is it a circus? This is not a question.
