Bigil keeps getting bigger. The latest news is that Vijay sang a song for the film, composed by AR Rahman, winner of an Oscar. The song will carry the words of Vivek.

This is the first time Vijay sings for Rahman, although he has already sung for composers like Harris Jayaraj ("Google Google" in Thuppaki) and GV Prakash ("Chellakutti" in Theri). He was supposed to sing for AR Rahman in Sarkar, but did not finally do it.
Bigil marks the third collaboration between Vijay and director Atlee after their successful releases at Theri and Mersal. Bigil, whose appearance caused a sensation online, means "hissing" in spoken Tamil.
