While he was promoting his film on various media platforms, Hrithik opened up on Bahl's shocking allegations that had prompted him to take a tough stance. Acknowledging that the trip with the film was difficult, he claimed that he was one of the first to take a tough stance against the director. He also added that he totally supported the #MeToo movement and believed in the need to put an end to the abusive attitude towards women.
He made it clear that it was important not to make the process independent of the law, only hearsay on social media. Stressing the importance of respecting the "law of the land", he said that one simply could not take things in hand.
He then clarified that since an ICC committee had exonerated the Vikas, they were not in a position to withdraw his credit.
The film, in which also play the leading roles of Mrinal Thakur and Nandish Sandhu, will see Hrithik take on the role of the Indian mathematician Anand Kumar, who leaves his teaching position in a large training center to devote himself to teaching disadvantaged children.
'Super 30' will be released in theaters on July 12th.
