Sydney, Oct. 24: A 102-year-old man was charged with badaulting a 92-year-old woman in a retirement home in Sydney on Wednesday.
The unnamed man will appear in court next month, said the police, after being charged with badault. reside in a care facility located in the eastern suburbs of the city.

The police refused to give details of the alleged crime but said the incident was occurred around noon noon and was reported to the police. Police arrived at the scene, not far from Bondi Beach, and placed the man in custody.

where he is convicted, he faces up to seven years in prison. He was, however, released on bail on November 20, pending his appearance in court. A hundred centenarians have already been brought to justice for crimes committed earlier in their lives, but it is rare to be charged with an offense over 100 years old.
