Sao Paulo: A Brazilian model died Saturday after collapsing on the catwalk during a parade on the last day of Sao Paulo Fashion Week, the organizers said.
"SPFW has just received the news of the death of supermodel Tales Soares, who suddenly fell ill during the Ocksa parade," the organization said in a statement, without giving the cause of death.
The 26-year-old dummy fell while turning to leave the track. Doctors immediately took him in front of horrified spectators, according to local media reports.

SPFW said that he had been taken to the hospital, where he had been declared dead.
"We offer our sincere condolences to the family of Tales," said the Ocksa label. The entire Ocksa team was "shocked" by the death of Soares, who signed a contract with the Base MGT modeling agency.
