A man died on the set of the upcoming film "Kabir Singh", starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani, in Mussoorie. The producers of the film offered support to the family of the deceased crew member. Ram Kumar, a 35-year-old resident of Uttar Pradesh, lost his life in an accident at the five-star hotel housing the film unit. The incident took place on Thursday before shooting began.
Kumar was part of the local team and worked with the Dehradun film set as a generator operator. He checked the water level in the generator when his muffler was caught in the generator fan. Kumar has also been trained. Kumar was also seriously injured in the head.
He was immediately taken to a hospital in Dehradun where he was ventilated for a few hours before his death. Kumar leaves three brothers and a sister.
The producers of the film, Cine1 Studios and T Series Films, said in a joint statement: "We are deeply saddened by this loss, we express our deepest condolences to Ram Kumar's family, we are supporting the family immediately after this tragic event. "
On the other hand, Shahid Kapoor, in conversation with Jitesh Pillai for Famous Filmfare, revealed an interesting incident during his dance days. He said, "There was a guy who was slightly offbeat. I swear, with very big hair on my head, it's me. I remember that I will not call her Karisma because she was Karisma Kapoor, she had to do 15 times because of me. And, once she turned around and said you kaun hai? Kaun Hai Ye? And, I was like hiding and saying nahi main hoon, nahi main hoon. I had just joined Shyamak Davar and my hair was installed half a minute after my installation. So, it was not actually my fault. It was just the length of my hair. "
