A politician friend clears Pooja Gandhi's hotel bills

It took a police complaint against Kannada's actor, Pooja Gandhi, to force his politician friend to pay hotel bills pending an amount of 3.5 lakh .

The actor, his political friend Anil P Mensinkai of the BJP and a film crew had stayed at Lalit Ashok, Kumara Krupa Road, between April 2016 and March 2017, with a bill of Rs 26.22,344, including taxes. They paid 22.83,129 rupees intermittently between April 2016 and December 2018. When hotel staff asked about the rest of the money, the answer was evasive.

The management of the hotel decided to wait patiently, baduming that Gandhi would be busy in his film shootings. When the hotel staff called her, she claimed that she had nothing to do with Mensinkai or with the film crew staying at the hotel. .

She asked the hotel to contact Mensinkai for payment of the fee.

On his side. Mensinkai first wrote a check, but he went back later, claiming that the balance of his bank account was insufficient.

Frustrated by this delay tactic, the hotel security officer, CC Muthanna, complained to the High Grounds police station. The police opened a report that was unthinkable, but before anyone could testify, Mensinkai employees rushed to the hotel on Tuesday and settled the tax.

Gandhi called the complaint "false".

"We paid all the taxes with the hotel and I even called the general manager who confirmed that the taxes were paid. There was a communication problem.
