The woman claimed that her husband, who was now seeking a divorce, had infected her with HIV with saline.
"We had a husband and wife tested at a private laboratory and discovered that they were HIV-positive, but tests at a government research institute showed that only woman was HIV-positive, "said the officer.
"We have registered a case under Section 328 (wounded by a poison) and 498 (dot-com offenses) of the IPC and are seeking an opinion medical, "said the policeman.
