A royal biographer claimed that Prince William had treated his wife, Kate Middleton, "as a maid" while they were dating
In his book William and Catherine, author Andrew Morton claims A friend of Kate said that his circle of friends did not like their relationship.
"During his time with William, she upset many friends by not making the effort to see them," says the book.
"Stubborn and resolute, William could be an overwhelming presence and, at times, Kate felt taken for granted – treated as a maid rather than as his girlfriend."
"She did not like that when he ignored her and entered into a conversation with someone like she was not there."
The Book was published in 2011, at the time of the marriage of the couple.
He described how the couple split up momentarily in 2007.
The couple then resumed their romance before becoming engaged in 2010 during a romantic hike.
