SPOILERS AHEAD.

Tyrion crosses the rubble of King's Landing, followed by Jon and Ser Davos. It's a surreal landscape of ashes and death.

Tyrion goes to the Red Keep, where he goes down to the dungeons and finds Jaime and Cersei buried under a pile of rubble, dead one in the other, in the arms of one of them. l & # 39; other.

Jon and Davos see Gray Worm and The Unsullied on the verge of executing some surviving Lannister soldiers. They try to prevent the executions, but Gray Worm says that he was ordered by the Queen to kill all those who followed Cersei Lannister. The men of the North and the Unsullied almost cross the sword, but Davos forces Jon to back off and suggests he talk directly to Daenerys

Jon heads to the entrance to what's left of the Red Dungeon. The Dothraki and Unsullied are waiting for their queen and cheering her as she flies in Drogon's back. Daenerys names Gray Worm the commander of his armed forces. She thanks the Dothraki for "killing (her) enemies in their iron clothes and destroying their stone houses". She tells her men that they will not rest but will continue to liberate all the peoples of the world from tyrants. Jon, standing next to her, now joined by Tyrion, becomes more and more dismayed.

Daenerys opposes Tyrion betraying her by releasing Jaime and accusing him of killing innocent people. He throws the badge of the hand and is stopped by the men of Gray Worm. As Jon prepares to follow, Arya approaches him and warns him that his own life could also be in danger. Daenerys knowing her true identity, she still considered Jon a threat.

Jon visits Tyrion in his prison and talks about the actions of Daenerys. Tyrion says that wherever Daenerys went, she killed evil men and was applauded for it. And the more she was encouraged, the more she was convinced that she was good and right. Tyrion regrets the role he played in bringing Daenerys to power and admits that Varys was right. They talk about homework and what Jon has to do, and Jon remembers Maester Aemon's words: "Love is the death of duty". Tyrion responds: "Sometimes duty is the death of love."

Daenerys crosses the destroyed throne room and reaches the iron throne. She touches him, is about to sit down when Jon comes in. She tells Jon the stories that Viserys would tell her about the Iron Throne and its making with the 1,000 swords of Aegon's enemies. She remembers wondering what a throne of 1,000 swords looked like as a little girl who can only count to 20. She asks Jon to reign at his side to help liberate the world at his sides. He kisses her, promising that she is and will always be his queen. Then he stabs her.

Daenerys is dying in Jon's arms and Drogon gets up in the air. Jon faces the dragon, preparing for death, but Drogon roars in the fire on the iron throne, knocking him down. He catches Dany in his clutches and flies with her

A short time goes by and Tyrion is taken from his prison by Gray Worm to be tried. At the dragon station, the lords and ladies of the last noble residences remain: Sansa, Arya and Bran, Edmure Tully, Robyn Arryn and Yohan Royce, Ser Davos, Yara Greyjoy, Samwell Tarly, Gendry Baratheon, Brienne of Tarth.

Before justice is done for Tyrion (and Jon), however, there is little to choose from a sovereign. Edmure Tully proposes and is invited to sit down by Sansa. Sam suggests a democracy – let people choose who they want to have as king or queen. Others laugh at his recommendation. Tyrion then recommends them to choose a leader whose story will unite people: Bran the Broken – the boy who fell from a tower and who lived, who learned to fly because he could not walk, who has crossed the wall to become the Three-Eyed Raven. As a repository of the entire history of the Seven Kingdoms, of his past, who better than Bran to guide the continent through the future? And since Bran can not have children, the next ruler will be chosen again by the known personalities of the earth – here, says Tyrion, is the wheel that Daenerys was trying to break.

Everyone recognizes that Bran is the king of Westeros. but for Sansa – who says that the North will remain a free territory. Bran calls Tyrion his hand, which does not please the cutworm.

Tyrion visits Jon in his prison. Jon wonders if he has acted correctly and Tyrion says that he must ask the same question in 10 years time. Jon has to join Night Watch (the reboot) and never get married, never have children as punishment for Daenerys' badbadination.

The Unsullied sails for Naath. Jon prepares to sail north. He bids farewell to Sansa, to Arya – who informs them that she will not be coming back to Winterfell, but to the west of Westeros, where the maps end, in Bran.

At King's Landing, Tyrion presides. a small council meeting. Bronn is the new master of the plays (and lord of Highgarden), Brienne is the commander of the Kingsguard (she writes the story of Jaime in the book that details all the deeds of his members), Davos is the master of the ships and Sam is the maester and liaison for the citadel. Bran asks Tyrion to name a whisper master and says that he will try to find Drogon himself. Ser Podrick Payne rejects him while the others continue their meeting.

Arya sails west, the Stark seal on his masts.

Sansa is crowned queen to the north.

Jon meets Tormund and Ghost at Black Castle. He crosses the wall with them and the Wildlings, and the doors close behind him.
