A woman and her five-year-old daughter who were watching a shoot were killed when a scene involving a car about to explode went terribly wrong in the SEZ of Bengaluru Aerospace Park in Bagalur, a suburb of the city, Friday night.
The accident occurred while shooting the film Kannada Ranam produced by Kanakapura Srinivas and performed by Chiranjeevi Sarja and Chetan.
The dead were identified as Sumera, 29, and Ahera, 5 years old. Shehnaz, the eldest daughter of Sumera, aged 8, was injured and treated.
The woman and her daughters were traveling to Sulibele when they saw the filming, for which the traffic would have been blocked.

Kala Krishnaswamy, DCP (Northeast), stated that the filming unit had not obtained permission to shoot. The police recorded a case of culpable homicide not constituting a murder against members of the unit.
