A woman from Idaho accidentally grabbed a mountain lion by breaking up a fight (Representative Image)
A woman from Idaho was trying to break a fight between two dogs quickly realized that the One of them was a much more dangerous animal – a mountain lion. According to a statement from the Idaho Sport Fishing Department, the incident occurred on January 30 when the woman reacted to what she thought was a fight between her dog and another dog outside his home in Mackay. However, as she separated the two animals, she realized that one of them was a juvenile mountain lion.
"The woman held back her dog and the mountain lion while shouting for her husband, who was still inside the house.Her husband reacted and quickly dispatched the mountain lion while he was there. she was holding it, "said the Idaho Fish and Game Fisheries Department.
The couple then called the local authorities and a Fish and Game agent arrived at the scene.
