On his 45th birthday, Aamir Khan offered his fans the ideal birthday treatment by announcing his next project. During a media conversation on Thursday, Aamir shared important information and told the PTI news agency: "My next film is finalized, it's called Lal Singh Chaddha It is directed by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Aamir Khan Productions together. "The film titled Lal Singh Chaddha is a remake of the 1994 film Forrest Gump in which Tom Hanks played the main role. The film will be directed by director Advait Chandan of the film Secret Superstar and will be written by Atul Kulkarni. Lal Singh Chaddha will be produced in collaboration by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom Motion Pictures.

During the interaction with the media, Aamir explained how he was preparing for the film and revealed that he would lose about 20 kg. for his role and that he will be seen wearing a turban for some segments of the film. He also said the film should be screened in October. "We have started the work of preparing the film, shooting will begin in October, I will prepare for six months, I will lose weight, I will lose 20kg, I have to be thin and thin," said PTI. Aamir said.
