Rakesh Sharma's biopic – "Saare Jahaan Se Achha" has been in the news since its announcement. After Aamir Khan, who was the original choice of the play, came out of the film, Shah Rukh Khan enthusiastically resumed the project.

Bollywood Hungama reports that the makers of Rakesh Sharma's biopic asked Vicky Kaushal to put himself in Khan's shoes. Although there is no official confirmation on this, the report says that the filmmakers are convinced that the star "URI" will do full justice to the role.

Interestingly, Aamir Khan originally was committed to realizing the biopic and Priyanka Chopra Jonas had been chosen as the main woman. But the actor of "Thugs Of Hindostan" chose not to participate, citing another ambitious project in preparation.
