History:
The pseudonym of "ABCD. Aravind Avi (AlluSirish) is a millionaire son NRI (Nagababu) who emigrated to the United States 25 years ago. Being a rich child, Avi spends up to $ 20,000 a month, which scares his father. Nagababu sends his son to India to make him understand the value of money, the value of hard work. After Avi reaches India, all his credit cards are turned off so that he does not receive easy money, but all his American contacts have been warned not to send him d & # 39; money.
The rest of the film describes how Avi and his friend survive slum life in India. It also deals with how the duo becomes celebrities in the media and acquires its own reputation.
Analysis:
The film takes off in interesting ways, but fails to build further on the premise. The concept of wealthy Americans who come to India without any funds to spend gives plenty of time to generate humor, but the team has only partially succeeded. This also in the first period. In a few scenes, Allu Sirish, Bharath (Master Bharath) are able to generate humor. Whole political thread involving the Minister of Finance, Subhalekha Sudhakar, his son Raja is a wet bighorn. Feel good Image artist Srinivennla Raja selection for a nasty role is a bad idea, which impacted the entire second half.
The News Reader Character Koffee with Kishore & # 39; Vennela Kishore was written around the popular youtube video 'Frustrated News reader'. and he is hilarious.
Allu Sirish has done well, in the climax scene his speech is impressive. Bharath as a friend of the hero is fine too. Heroin Rukshar Dhillon has a limited role, has done well. Nagababu is the father of the hero. The production values should have been much better. Given the hero market, there seems to be a trade-off in spending. The director Sanjeev shows a certain capacity to tell the procedure in an interesting way, but factors related to the budget, casting, etc. have limited production.
Positive points:
- Hero Allu Sirish shows ease of use
Negatives:
- Poor casting, production values
- Less entertainment
- Absence of commercial elements
Verdict:
ABCD has a story that is not trivial. There is little entertainment in the first half, which could have been better though. The second half is more focused on history, without pleasant moments. In general, in the centers of British Columbia, this film may find an audience and elsewhere it will be an arduous task to bring the audience to the theater with this content.
