Actress Shamita Shetty was reportedly recently victim of a road rage incident in Thane, Mumbai, after which she complained to the Rabodi Police Station, reported the Times of India. According to the report, the 39-year-old actress was verbally harbaded after a collision between a motorcycle and Shamita Shetty's car. The rider was also accompanied by two experienced friends. TOI states that after the biker crashed into the car, Shamita Shetty's driver, Darshan Sawant, went out to inspect the damage when the bikers stopped to start a fight. They were reportedly ill-treated and slapped the driver near the Viviana shopping center in Thane.

In the police complaint, Darshan Sawant was also reportedly threatened by motorcyclists, reported TOI. The incident reportedly occurred around 1:30 am Tuesday afternoon. According to the police, YOU allegedly quoted no injured person during the incident.
