Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanya Malhotra started filming their next film . The still untitled film is directed by Barfi! and Anurag Basu, director of Jagga Jasoos. Aditya and Sanya have added a photo on their Instagram profile that shows them how to take for a photo with Basu in the background. Aditya subtitled the photo, "A new journey begins."
The film would also be performed by Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Pankaj Tripathi. It is described as a dark anthology of comics. The film was financed by Bhushan Kumar, from the T series.
Aditya's last major role in a film dates back to 2017, alongside Shraddha Kapoor at Ok Jaanu. He also made an appearance in Welcome To New York.
Aditya will also be present in director Abhishek Varman Kalank, alongside Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sanjay Dutt. He is in post-production and should be released on April 19th.
Sanya Malhotra, for whom Basu's film will be the fifth feature film of her career, the latest photograph of Ritesh Batra Photograph, in which she starred alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Photography created for the first time at the Sundance and Berlin Film Festivals. Prior to that, the actor had been seen at Ayuhmann Khurrana in Badhaai Ho.
