Pulwama's frightening terrorist attack left the nation in shock. The attack that claimed 40 Jawans at the CRPF is considered one of the worst strikes in Jammu and Kashmir. Several Bollywood celebrities, including Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Akshay Kumar, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar and Amitabh Bachchan, paid tribute to the families of martyred soldiers. Some of the stars have also donated money for the well-being of families. The latest to have accomplished this humble act in the superstar Salman Khan who offered to contribute to the Pulwama martyrs.
Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, took advantage of his Twitter account to thank the actor for this commendable act. He tweeted, "Thank you @BeingSalmanKhan for offering to contribute to Pulwama's martyrs through BEING HUMAN FOUNDATION, I will be working on handing checks to #BharatKeVeer @BharatKeVeer's account."
In the company of Salman Khan, the team of Uri: The Surgical Strike collaborated with RSVP to donate a crore of 1 Rs to the families of the attack Uri / Social Protection Fund of the Army. While Ronnie Screwvala shared the news on his social network account, he also urged the "unicorns" of India to make themselves known and donate. Meanwhile, on the labor front, Salman will be seen in the upcoming film Ali Abbas Zafar entitled Bharat . The film would be an official adaptation of the Korean film Ode To My Father and should be released on June 5th. The film will also feature stars such as Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi, Sunil Grover, Jackie Shroff and Tabu in key roles.
