Bigg Boss 11 celebrity Arshi Khan is the latest celebrity to join politics. After the footsteps of her close friend and co-candidate Shilpa Shinde, Arshi also joined the Congress.

The actress was welcomed into the party and apparently offered a big job to the party. She joined the Congress as Vice President of Maharashtra.

At an event held in Mumbai this afternoon (February 28), the actress was welcomed into the party by a few congressmen. Speaking to TimesofIndia.com, the actress said that it is important to work for the country and give it its best. She also talked about the current tension between India and Pakistan. The actress has expressed her point of view on how the tension between countries creates a situation of panic. She also spoke about the pilot project of the IAF held by Pakistan. Arshi thinks she will do good to her nation.

Arshi became famous after participating in the Bigg Boss 11 reality TV series. She became one of the most popular candidates after the show. The former BB competitor was voted as the second most wanted artist on the list of the most wanted artists by Google in India last year in 2017.

Before joining Bigg Boss 11, Arshi was known for his controversial life. Whether it's her obscene photos and videos on Instagram or her misrepresentations that she was pregnant with Pakistani cricket son Shahid Afridi, Arshi has always managed to attract attention for bad reasons.
