Nayanthara, one of the most beloved actors of Tamil cinema, has always met the challenges head on and emerged triumphant. With Airaa she took the greatest act of faith by playing a dual role and one of them turns out to be the biggest surprise and the highlight of the film.

Nayanthara proves once again that she has the courage. to experiment and make extra efforts to achieve perfection. The film actually starts as a horror thriller but after the interview, it becomes an emotional drama and it is there that the Nayanthara performer shines like a diamond!

Yamuna (Nayanthara) is a journalist who writes a column for the Aunt of Agony and hates her. bbad work. She wants to launch a program on YouTube but her boss discourages him. Yamuna's parents are also constantly pressuring her to get married. To get out of this nagging situation, Yamuna goes to her grandmother's house in Pollachi. Her lonely bungalow and its strange atmosphere motivate her to create a new YouTube channel in which she creates fake ghost videos before becoming popular on the Internet.

Meanwhile, a group of people commit suicide from the roof of their buildings. Writer Amudhan (Kalaiyarasan) believes that the death of these people is linked to his lover Bhavani (a dark-skinned Nayanthara) who lost his life in a road accident. Just when things are going well for Yamuna, her grandmother is out of her bungalow by supernatural power and is hospitalized. Later, Yamuna discovers that Bhavani's spirit attacked her grandmother. What is even more shocking is that Yamuna is Bhavani's next target, but why?

strange little boy. But as we have seen all these things in so many horror films in the past, there are no big surprises here.

Interestingly, the things that work in Airaa are not the parties of horror but the emotional flashback parts. from Bhavani. The way Nayanthara badumes her role with such conviction will make young people fall in love with dark-skinned girls. Airaa also says that beauty has nothing to do with the skin color of his skin.

With a superb performance, Nayan has all the good notes. It gives the room the right parts of vulnerability, restraint and quiet strength, for an absolutely perfect performance. She cries so naturally that you begin to believe that her emotions are real and that the character of Bhavani exists before you!

The black and white tone, the soothing background and the charming megathoodham number amplify the beauty of Bhavani. Like Yamuna, Nayanthara wears the GAP, Levis and Nike fashion brands, even his helmet bears the mark while Bhavani is quite opposed. Her costumes, her hair, her makeup and her body language prove the extent of the troubles and hard work that had to be done to give this petty-bourgeois girl such a real appearance.

Airaa allegedly worked with the portions of Bhavani alone, the angle of horror effectively removes the novelty of the film. If the director Sarjun had focused solely on the moving story of Bhavani, Airaa would have been a clbadic. The butterfly effect of the horror thriller is another interesting aspect of the film.

On the other hand, the reason for Bhavani's revenge against Yamuna is unconvincing and Yogi babu's comedy and presence deviate. The support troop, like Yamuna's grandmother, her parents and even Amudhan is unimpressive and boring. Airaa review: It's the Nayanthara show until the end!
