Aishwarya and Abhishek were the last to announce their wish to wish Jaya Bachchan's birthday on April 9th. Sharing a photo with Jaya, Aaradhya and herself, Aishwarya wrote: "Happiness forever."

It is rumored that the husband-wife duo would play in Gulab Jamun, producer of Anurag Kashyap. However, it was later reported that Aishwarya had retired from the film and had signed a film with Mani Ratnam. She will be twinned with Vikram, her Tamil actor from Raavan.
Abhishek was last seen in Manmarziyaan (Anurag Kashyap), where he co-starred with Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. He also lent his voice to Mowgli: The legend of the jungle for its dubbed version in Hindi.
The couple was also in the news when a viral picture of them walking on a beach emerged.
