Ajay Devgn's movie "Bhuj: Pride of India" is scheduled to arrive in theaters on August 14, 2020, directors said Sunday.

To be written and directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, the film will feature Ajay as Vijay Karnik, Wing Commander of the IAF, who was responsible for Bhuj Airport during the war between India and Pakistan in 1971.
Karnik, with 50 Air Force officers and 60 security officers, played a key role in maintaining the air base despite heavy bombardment of Pakistan.

The landing strip was damaged during the bombing, but Karnik and his team, with the help of 300 women of the region have rebuilt it for a plane carrying Indian Army officers can land safely.

"Bhuj" will be co-produced by Krishan Kumar, Ginny Khanuja, Vajir Singh and Dhudhaiya.
