Actor Ajay Devgn, who looks forward to the release of De De Pyaar De, recently made an appearance at The Kapil Sharma Show to promote his film. During his stay, Ajay shared several stories of his film career and amusing anecdotes about his co-stars.
According to an article in the Times of India, he was asked how he could make so many movies in a year while his contemporaries, the Khans, manage only a few films. Ajay said that not only him, but also Akshay Kumar turned 10 times a year and that the credit goes to their punjabi genes. The actor said that they were used to eating a lot of desi food with pure ghee since childhood, which made them extremely effective. He also added that he only wore jeans to reduce filming time and only change the shirt depending on the theme and sequences of the film.

In the past two years, Ajay has been part of seven films while Akshay has also made seven. Meanwhile, Aamir Khan has made two films in two years, Shah Rukh Khan has done two three and Salman Khan did four.
In the series, Ajay also revealed how Ram Gopal Varma's 2003 film, Bhoot, made him claustrophobic after a horrible incident. He stated that the team was shooting at the 28th floor of a building and that he was going on a lift one day when an accident occurred. "He crashed from the fourth floor to the basement and I got stuck in for an hour and a half. After that, I only took the stairs to get to the place even though it was on the 28th floor, "he said. The hours spent in the broken elevator so frightened him that he again refused to use it for the rest of the shoot. He often climbed 28 floors four times a day, just to avoid taking the elevator. He added that he used more than glbad-walled elevators.
The actors of Ajay and De De Pyaar De, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh, also recently shot for the show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Fields of Zee TV. He said that he had stopped pranking people.
Ajay said, "Now that people know me and expect something from me on the set, I've literally stopped joking. In fact, the funny thing is that there are no pranks and that the actors and the team always suspect me if something is wrong on the set.
