The distribution of the film "Good News" by Akshay Kumar announced the end of the shoot. They made the announcement with a video posted on social media Saturday. Akshay subtitled the video, "Practice the sound of #GoodNews". He also mentioned that the film would be aired on September 6th. The video begins with the sound of the siren, then joins Kareena and Kiara.

According to the information gathered, two couples are trying to conceive. Diljit and Kiara play a young punjabi couple, while Akshay and Kareena also play a couple trying to have a baby. Akshay and Kareena worked together on films such as "Ajnabee", "Aitraaz" and "Kambakkht Ishq". Kareena worked with Diljit in "Udta Punjab".

The film is produced by Karan Johar, Kalank's producer from Kiara. The film is directed by the beginner Raj Mehta. In March, the four actors shot a dance number for the film, which would be a remix of Sauda Khara Khara of Sukhbir.
