Akshay Kumar shocked Dimple Kapadia, Twinkle Khanna with blood on his shirt at HT Most Stylish. See photos | Bollywood

Actor Akshay Kumar is known for pranking his co-stars and he did not spare his family during the most stylish HT India on Friday. Akshay scared his wife, Twinkle Khanna, and his mother-in-law, Dimple Kapadia, with a blood-soaked shirt during the event.

Dimple was joined by actor Sunny Leone on stage to present the HT Hottest Trendsetter (Male). Dimple made a heartfelt announcement that 'his son' Akshay had won the award.

When Akshay arrives to receive his prize, he also calls Dimple his mother. She then had to put a reward pin on her lapel. When she tried to pin her down, Akshay recoiled in pain and said that she had stabbed him by mistake. He opened his jacket to reveal a white t-shirt soaked in blood. He put his hand on it and showed the blood to everyone, stating that it was cool.

Dimple was shocked at seeing the blood and Twinkle, sitting in the audience, also seemed worried to see the blood on his shirt. However, Akshay did not scare them too long and soon revealed that the blood was wrong. Dimple looked relieved and Akshay took her in his arms. Check out the pictures:

Twinkle also won the HT Most Stylish Author Award. After receiving the award, Twinkle stated that all that Akshay is is "it's because of the woman standing behind him".

Kesari, Akshay's latest film, goes to the box office. He is currently shooting Good News with Kareena Kapoor Khan and will soon start working on Mission Mangal with Vidya Balan and Sonakshi Sinha. He also has Sooryavanshi with Rohit Shetty and an Amazon Prime Original, Fire.
