Hindustan Times learned from sources that the actor was referring to an interview that he would soon broadcast with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It seems to be the first full interview the Prime Minister gave to a non-journalist. "Akshay has known Minister Modi for years and was happy to be invited to have a conversation with him on camera. The tweet of Akshay Kumar had provoked a wave of speculation suggesting that the actor was likely to join politics and to challenge elections BJP ticket. Kumar, however, said in another tweet that this was not the case. "Recognizing for all the interest shown in my previous tweet, but clarifying in the light of wild speculation, I do not dispute the elections," he said.
