It has become commonplace that every time a trailer of an upcoming movie is published on the web, shortly thereafter, the same inspired trailer also makes his way to social media sites. The latest film, Kesari, is Akshay Kumar's. Co-produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the filmmakers abandoned the Kesari trailer earlier in the day. One scene in particular, taken from the trailer in which Akshay Kumar says "Chal Jhoota" to an Afghan tribal warrior, seems to have inspired the greatest number of memes. The film is based on the actual event. – the Battle of Saragarhi, which took place between 21 Sikh soldiers, who maintained their position in the northwestern border of India and fought until their last breath against a gigantic army of 10,000 Afghan tribal warriors. The war took place on September 12, 1897 and is considered by historians as one of the last great battles to have taken place.
On March 21 of this year, Kesari will be on theaters and will feature Akshay Kumar in the role of the famous leader of his troops, Havildar Ishar Singh. The action sequences are fierce and will certainly give you goose bumps while the trailer dialogs will also give you an adrenaline rush.
