The actor Akshay Kumar reportedly began filming the remake of Kanchana in Mumbai with a special song for the film, reports Now. Akshay, who will play the role of a man possessed by the spirit of a transbadual woman, has been spotted on film trays with a spooky background. A source told Times Now: "The song called Bismillah ." A section of the Internet guessed that Akshay's tweet refers to the remake of Kanchana entitled . ] Laxmi in Hindi, while a set of Twitter users thought that Akshay Kumar could be a candidate in the elections. He refuted this last thought with this tweet:
I am grateful for all the interest shown in my previous tweet, but I want to clarify in the light of fierce speculation that I do not participate in elections. ] 22 April 2019
Meanwhile, Kanchana is part of the film series Muni directed and written by Raghava Lawrence, who also portrays the protagonist. Kanchana is the second film in the series Muni and a third film of the same name is planned for 2019.
In the forefront, Akshay Kumar is currently filming Good news with Kareena Kapoor, Diljiit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. He will soon fix the dates of Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi for which Katrina Kaif's cast was announced on Monday alongside Akshay.
