Disney would probably hope for the creation of a genius and grant three wishes that could erase public reactions to the upcoming Aladdin live film remake. After drawing criticism from the sub-CGI and a dull trailer, a new clip is just as bad.
Disney released Tuesday a 30-second clip of the film, starring Will Smith performing a new version of the song Prince Ali, in which Aladdin is presented to the public as a royalty.
Many fans were surprised by Will Smith's "human" identity. appearance and not transform into the blue genius. They also complained about the lack of energy and the lack of presence of lead actor Mena Mbadoud. "Something about it is slow," wrote one speaker. "For example, the original was very energetic and involved a lot of movement, but it stays mostly in a barely moving space."
"I was expecting Genie to change shape over this song, as in the animated version," writes another. An incredulous fan wondered if the entire budget had been spent on Will Smith.
I simply do not understand why Disney thought / the prince of characters / all figures radiating "clumsy and nervous first time as lead in a play" pic.twitter.com/ oDLPoSTLXC

"I just do not understand why Disney thought that Prince Ali, in figures, would radiate for the first time nervous as a leading role in a play, "joked a fan on Twitter, sharing screenshots of the same scene, shot both from live action and animated movies." Cersei n Nor was he impressed by Aladdin's Prince Ali's song, "joked another, adding a reaction shot by Lena Headey to the video.
I could not get into the new sequence of the song "Prince Ali." In the origin al, Genie was transformed and merged into the crowd acting as a "relatable" hype to the public. You know, narrative. It's just Genie standing in front of a procession singing. There is no story. pic.twitter.com/E84pxrmvi3

What's driving crazy now? Prince Ali looking for "lame"? Sonic "unrealistic" " #GameOfThrones being" badist "? People are more upset by fandoms than the atrocities of the world. If so many people were hungry in the world as Star Wars, we would have solved some problems now … 1945

Critics have also been addressed to director Guy Ritchie, who is directing a musical film for the first time. "Guy Ritchie is proof that you can be married to Madonna for 8 years and not know how to conduct a musical performance," a fan wrote on Twitter.
