Of all the recent live-action remakes of Disney, it looks like Aladdin was the one that was the object of the greatest attention.
The lack of a blue genius in the early pictures sparked negative reactions. (and then what it looked like), hiring a white actor in a new role and even the arrangement of "Prince Ali".
But did Guy Ritchie ruin our childhood by daring to remake Aladdin ? No, not in the least. Although the remake does not do enough to feel like a whole new world, it remains a sumptuous and enjoyable narrative of a clbadic tale.
And yes, Will Smith's genius is good.
If you've never seen the animation, Aladdin is centered on the eponymous "street rat" (Mena Mbadoud) who falls in love with Princess Jasmine (Naomi Scott) when they meet in the streets of Agrabah.
The only problem is that Jasmine must marry a prince, but fortunately for Aladdin, he is deceived by the Sultan's chief advisor, Jafar (Marwan Kenzari), who is trying to find a magic lamp that contains an almighty and generous wishes that wish.
Will Aladdin manage to keep him out of Jafar's reach and win Jasmine's heart?

Things go as usual when it comes to the intrigue of the remake , but that does not mean that Ritchie does not have
Jasmine's new song, "Speechless," does not reach the heights of clbadic tunes Aladdin but that's a performance moving which completes his extended bow of will. Jasmine also receives a new servant in the form of Dalia (Nasim Pedrad) and the two share a fun chemistry, including antics that change their bodies.
Ritchi Jafar has also given more to do and Marwan Kenzari is simply not up to the task. Jafar does not have the necessary threat – or no threat, in fact – and his monotonous performance does not work. The changes made to Iago (expressed by Alan Tudyk) are also disconcerting, as he rarely interacts with Jafar, but he is also not a parrot who repeats sentences.
This is one of the main elements of the animation that the remake escapes, so it is happy that all the others earn a lot better. [19659002] Naomi Scott is great as Jasmine and makes the most of Jasmine's expanded role in animation, while Mena Mbadoud portrays Aladdin's charming and thuggish character, even though does not succeed as well with more emotional content. "New World is aptly romantic when it comes in.
We'll admit to having doubted Will Smith as a Genius, but he manages to bring his own fun twist and cool to the character and deliver his most charismatic performance in years.Purists can mock his versions of Aladdin clbadic, but what would be the point of simply imitating Robin Williams? Unfortunately, he is disappointed by the s mixed CGI when he is an awesome genius (that's sometimes a little mysterious in the valley) and by a new cooked sub-plot.

There is an amusing lightness in Smith's performance that extends to most of the film. It's a shame that as in many new elements of the remake, they have been trying to develop animation, but here it proves that bigger is not always bigger. better.
But overall, Aladdin may not be quite magical, but there is a lot of fun to have if you give this rough diamond a chance .
