The first trailer of the film is presented to the audience during a nostalgic trip. The trailer opens on Aladdin running through the alleys of a very lively market fleeing the guard. On the way, he falls on Princess Jasmine and is seduced by its beauty. Then he meets a merchant looking for a lamp. The merchant shows him the way to a cave and promises to Aladdin to make him rich when he brings the magic lamp. The daring young man accepts and enters the "Cave of Wonders", finds the lamp and unknowingly calls the genius who lives there.
The two-minute, 14-second clip takes us on the journey of Aladdin's transformation from a poor boy into a prince, Jasmine's fight to rebel against the norms and powers of Genius , which could prove to be the key to their future.

Earlier, when the movie's teaser dropped, upset fans called it a "parody" of OG Aladdin. However, the trailer is generating positive feedback on social media. While one of the fans wrote: "This ALADDIN trailer is so promising, the colors, the song, the extravagance of it all are breathtaking – let us enjoy it for that's it, because WOW. " "Okay, the new trailer from Aladdin looks good, and he's singing ???? I'm a little excited about it" wrote another fan appreciating the score and the soundtrack of the movie.
Composer Alan Menken, eight-time Oscar winner, gives the score, which includes new recordings and original songs written by Menken and Oscar-winning songwriters Howard Ashman and Tim Rice.
Directed by Guy Ritchie, Aladdin also presents Marwan Kenzari in Jafar. Navid Negahban as Sultan, Nasim Pedrad as Dalia and Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders.
The film will be screened on May 24th.
