Popular Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn will make their Telugu debut with the upcoming RRR film, director SS Rajamouli announced on Thursday
While Alia will play one of the main ladies, Ajay will also doing tests a crucial role in a flashback episode.
Speaking to reporters, Rajamouli stated that RRR would be a fictional story taking place in the pre-independence era of the 1920s and based on a few years in the life of two real and well-known heroes. Revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.
Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt will debut in Telugu with the new film by SS Rajamouli.
"It will be a fictional story about the life of Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. There are gaps in the lives of these legendary freedom fighters we do not know. We do not know what has happened in their lives in recent years. It is through this fictitious story that we would like to show what could have happened in their lives and what would have happened had they met and connected with each other, "Rajamouli said.

Jr NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem and Ram Charan will play Alluri Sitharama Raju.
Calling this a pan-Indian film, Rajamouli is delighted to have Alia and Ajay on board.

"I am really delighted that the two of them have immediately agreed to be part of this project. When I sent Ajay a text that I would like to meet and present him with an idea, he immediately took the time to meet. He was very excited after hearing the idea and immediately prepared his dates for this project. Ajay will be seen playing a very important role in the flashback episode, "he said.
Rajamouli said that Alia Bhatt would be paired with Ram Charan.
" I remember having met Alia at the airport and shared the idea. She said excitedly that she would like to be part of the project and play any role. The international actor Daisy Edgar Jones was paired with Tarak, "he added.
DVV producer Danayya announced on this occasion that RRR will be released worldwide on July 30, 2020 in ten Indian languages
