Actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, Bollywood actors, were spotted with Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji on Saturday at the house of producer Karan Johar. The photos of the trio were shared online.
Alia wore a white and yellow top, while Ranbir wore a light blue t-shirt and cap. Both were sitting in the back seat of their car, while Ayan was sitting with his shotgun. A few hours earlier, Alia and her Kalank co-stars Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapur were spotted at Mumbai airport after a promotional tour of New Delhi. Kalank is a drama of the time, also produced by Karan.
In a recent interview with Mid-Day, Alia said she shot both movies simultaneously, which was very difficult. "I was shooting Brahmastra and Kalank simultaneously, some days were impossible to live," she said. "It's not easy to live up to the vision of director Abhishek Varman."
In a previous interview, Alia also told Mid-Day: "Ranbir and I have always maintained that Brahmastra is not not a superhero movie; it's a mystical fantasy drama. There is no reference [for comparison]. It's a new film emerging from our industry. It could be a film that will be the pride of this industry and will put us on a global base. I do not want to sound the trumpet myself, but Ayan's vision is extremely confident.
While Ranbir and Alia are more often seen together, they prefer to keep their relationship private. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Alia said, "It's not like a relationship is a feat. It's just a part – and a very important part – of my life. It's homogeneous and beautiful, and should be celebrated when it's needed. For now, it should be left as is and kept in a corner where it can stay safe and warm. "
