Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, one of Bollywood's most beloved couples, are about to share the screen for the very first time in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. The fantasy adventure movie was due out this Christmas, but it has now been transferred to the summer of 2020 because of its considerable work on special effects and computer graphics (CGI). Fans were naturally very excited to see two talented stars like Ranbir and Alia share the screen. Well, it turns out that it was not just the fans, but even Alia Bhatt who wanted this collaboration to take place. In an interview with a major newspaper, Alia spoke about Brahmastra and screen sharing for the first time with her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. She said: "I have always loved Ranbir as an actor: he is so fabulous on screen, he is powerful, but also honest and complete. I feel it even when we work together. It's so nice to see him reproduce. It really inspires me to be a better version of myself at work. His work ethic is laudable and I always learn from him. I will continue to learn from him. Even with Bachchan sir, who is such a generous and professional actor, it's amazing. His voice alone can give you goose bumps. The world is relatable. Brahmastra will not be a movie, it will be an experience. In fact, I am very happy that the first time we met for a film like this. There was a time when I thought, "When will I be able to work with him? What's going to happen? And then it happened. Also, it's been a long time since Brahmastra was not conceptualized – it was five years ago, right after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. It was also the moment when Ayan and I got together. It was a very big moment for me when he proposed me this part. I was not who I am today, but he always trusted me. It was a big problem for me and since that day, I've always been looking forward to being on this board every day. Because it's a new challenge every day and I gave up as an actor. I have always thought that when Ranbir and I meet, it must be magical and literal, it can not be more magical than that. I say all this with hope and without being pompous about it. We work very hard in that direction.

Alia Bhatt had a very mixed year in 2019. While Gully Boy earned him praise, the mega Kalank project failed to catch the public's attention.
