This winter, flyers traveling through the Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans are invited to pet a baby alligator as part of a new year. a pet therapy program aimed at calming travelers.

Every Friday afternoon, the Audubon Nature Institute will be on site in the baggage claim area, where arriving pbadengers will be able to unwind their flights by stroking baby alligators and posing for selfies, reports USA Today.
Alligator babies are between one and three years old and will benefit from regular breaks, according to airport officials.
