Alligator babies enlisted in a pet therapy program at the New Orleans airport

This winter, flyers traveling through the Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans are invited to pet a baby alligator as part of a new year. a pet therapy program aimed at calming travelers.

In recent years, airports around the world have recognized the power of adorable and cuddly animals to appease harbaded and stressed travelers.

Initially, dogs were the most popular therapy animal, then pigs: miniature horses. And now in Louisiana – home to the largest number of alligators in the United States – alligators in baby form.

Every Friday afternoon, the Audubon Nature Institute will be on site in the baggage claim area, where arriving pbadengers will be able to unwind their flights by stroking baby alligators and posing for selfies, reports USA Today.
Alligator babies are between one and three years old and will benefit from regular breaks, according to airport officials.

The Denver International Airport has the largest petroleum therapy program for airports in the United States. United States, with about 100 dogs and a cat that composes his squad of canine airport therapy. And the Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport uses miniature horses.
