The actor Alok Nath, accused of rape during the #MeToo movement, arrived in India last year, will play a lead role in a film on badual harbadment in which he will play the role ;a judge. The film would be titled #MainBhi (Hindi for #MeToo).
The actor told Mumbai Mirror: "I'm not doing any film at the moment. It's something I shot a while ago. He continued, "Is there a problem? You seem sad that I make a film. It is a painful role for poor producers, to be released.
Actor Khalid Siddiqui gave Mumbai Mirror more details about the film and the role of Alok. "The film deals with pedophilia, a subject that has not been used often on screen, especially among boys. My character and others are affected by incidents that change our lives. We hope the film will open a debate on the subject, "he said.
He stated that Alok was delivering a pbadionate speech at the end of the film about The film was directed by Nisar Khan and is also performed by Sonali Raut, Shawar Ali and Imran Khan.
