The film presents Yash as Rocky, who is learning the lessons of his rough life on the streets of Mumbai, where he begins his career as a shoe shiner. Slowly and regularly, he gets up in the world of crime. His life takes a turn when he arrives in Kolar where he faces local gangsters. Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF is a historical drama tracing the history of the extraction of gold and mafia that exploits it in the generous fields of the region of Kolar in Karnataka.
KGF is a two-part series. While the first part focused on the rise of Yash as a gangster in Mumbai and Kolar Gold Fields, the second installment will be devoted to his downfall.
The film also features key roles: Srinidhi Shetty, Ramya Krishna, Ananth Nag, John Kokken and Achyuth Rao.
The announcement threw Yash fans on the set. While one tweeted, "Thank you very much! One of the best movies you have ever launched and launches", another wrote: "I think KGF will be the most anticipated film of his life . "
