After Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani, the actor Amitabh Bachchan is expected to join the cast of the Hindi remake of Kanchana entitled Laaxmi Bomb . The film has already reached the floors with the two main stars and now, Big B could start shooting for his character, which is very important for the narrative of the film. As reported by a news portal, the veteran actor will be seen playing a transgender character in the film. The character is the one who turns into a ghost and has a man in the story. Even though there is no confirmation on this, it will be a role never seen before for Bachchan's willingness to do so.

A report from India Today suggests that the legendary star has already given his sign of approval and his scenes will be filmed soon. Laaxmi Bomb is directed by Raghava Lawrence who directed the Tamil series and who also starred. A report published in Mumbai Mirror revealed earlier that Raghava wanted to confide to Amitabh Bachchan or Sanjay Dutt the role of transgender ghost because of the depth of their voice. And now, he seems to have managed to convince the first for the role.

Laaxmi Bomb presents Akshay Kumar as a man who does not fear the ghost and Kiara Advani in the character of his wife. The film is currently being shot in Mumbai, with filmmakers predicting an early release in 2020 for Laaxmi Bomb . After completing the first filming program in Mumbai, Akshay will go to the film Sooryavanshi with Rohit Shetty in Goa. The rest of the film will be shot after Akshay has completed Sooryavanshi at once.

Laaxmi Bomb brings Khiladi back into the horror genre after a 12-year hiatus. He was seen with Vidya Balan and Shiney Ahuja for the last time in Bhool Bhulaiyaa released in 2007.
