Director Vikas Bahl hit the headlines when he was accused of badual harbadment during the ongoing #MeToo movement in Bollywood. Although he was removed from his current film, "Super 30", the film's producers took him back aboard after he received a blank ballot in his file.
Anand Kumar, on whom the film is based, reportedly stated that Vikas was back in the team, but that since Vikas had received a blank ballot, no one should point it out. According to him, Vikas is a friendly and extremely hardworking person. He also wished to be able to work on good films.

Apparently, the film about his trip was originally to be directed by UTV Motion Pictures and directed by Anurag Basu. However, after their disappearance, it is Phantom who took over. To clear up a little the same thing, he stated that he had told the production house that he had the right to choose the actor, the director, the musical director and the right scenario, before giving the green light to the project. He added that people had asked him if he had chosen Hrithik for the film because he looked like a Greek god. But Hrithik has undergone a lot of preparation. He shared that the actor came dressed in a gamcha just like him with a focus just like him. Anand revealed that he was very surprised and that Hrithik had done a good job.

'Super 30' is based on the mathematician Anand Kumar, who trains unprivileged students at the IIT-JEE entrance exams. Hrithik plays the main character of the film. The film also includes Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Tripathi, Amit Sadh, Johnny Lever, among others.

The film should be released in cinemas on July 12, 2019.
