Ananya Panday: Alia Bhatt has always been my idol

The newcomer Ananya Panday hopes to become a versatile artist like her idol, Alia Bhatt someday.

The 20-year-old actress is about to make her big debut in Bollywood. this Friday with Student of the Year 2, a sequel to the movie that launched Alia's career in 2012.

"I respect so much Alia. She has always been my idol. When she arrived with 'Student …' she was raw and fresh and people saw her growing up. I was inspired by its growth, "she told PTI in an interview.

Ananya claims that her character in the film is similar to her real life.

"All these experiences were therefore my first. All I did was impulsive. I made mistakes and you would see that. I would like the public to watch me grow.
