A road overbridge (ROB) in the Andheri suburb of Bombay collapsed on July 3 due to heavy rains, disrupting local train services and affecting some long-distance trains that caused traffic. It is a huge inconvenience to commuters, officials said. Five people were injured, two seriously, in the incident that occurred around 7:30. Some long-distance express trains were canceled and postponed due to the collapse of the ROB.
Dabbawalas, Mumbai's famous carrier, also said that he was unable to operate when railway services on the railway line were halted. Minister of Railways Piyush Goyal said visited the accident in the afternoon. the railway safety commissioner whose report should be submitted within 15 days. He badured that the train services will be restored completely at night.
The wounded are under critical care
Asmita Katkar, 35, one of five wounded in the collapse of the bridge, is currently in critical condition. The doctors took her to surgery. In addition to a serious injury to the head and face, the blood supply of one of its upper limbs has stopped. The doctors are trying to save his arm.
Mrs. Katkar, who works as a maid, was on the way home after dropping her six-year-old son to school. They walked on the road every day.
Another Girdhari Singh and Manoj Mehta were seriously injured. While Mr. Singh is in the surgical intensive care unit, Mr. Mehta was transferred to Nanavati Hospital where he underwent surgery.

Blame game
While a spokesman for the Western Railway said the bridge was under the jurisdiction of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the civic body that was a railway property.

Rail services are stranded between Goregaon and Bandra stations. Commuters with pbadages in the ports between Goregaon and Bandra were allowed to use the central line.

Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transportation (BEST) will provide additional buses to help stranded pbadengers in the affected stations

The iconic Dabbawallas suspended services for the day. They will not deliver food because several limbs are stranded at various train stations due to the collapse of the upper deck.
Uber Suspends Dynamic Prices
Ride Welcoming Service Uber said it was turning off dynamic prices for the day. "Due to heavy rains and severe flooding in Mumbai, Uber has stopped dynamic prices across the city.We are doing our best to ensure the availability of Ubers on the road.We encourage the Mumbaikars to POOL together and to share their journey with their fellow travelers traveling in the same direction, "said Uber in a statement.
