Anil Kapoor became part of the story when Indian director Slumdog Millionaire swept the Oscars in 2009, but the actor remembers the day before the ceremony was reprimanded by his wife.

Anil plays the role of a game show host in Slumdog Millionaire.

Recalling his past, Anil also said that the moment Slumdog Millionaire was announced as the best film, he was tempted to break into his famous dance step "Ram Lakhan".
"But I thought that if I did, I would break the protocol and they could stop me! If it was India, I would do it I was dying to dance When the dancers were dancing on Jai Ho, imagine how much I had to control myself for not dancing, "said actor Ram Lakhan in his statement.
Looking back, the 62- A one-year-old actor said that winning the Oscar was phenomenal and that the whole country was "proud" of it.
After his international debut, Anil worked for Mission Impossible. He also produced and starred in the Indian version of Terrorist Drama number 24.

The film also won the Oscar for best film, directing, adapted screenplay, cinematography, editing and sound mixing for Resul Pookutty.
With a screenplay written by Simon Beaufoy, the film takes inspiration from the novel by author Vikas Swarup, Q & A, and features including Dev Patel, Freida Pinto and Irrfan Khan.
On the labor front, Anil recently worked in films like Ek Ladki Ko Dekha, Aisa Laga and Double Dhamaal.
