On May 23, 2019, Narendra Modi was elected prime minister for a second term while he was leading the BJP to a mbadive victory. Shortly after the overwhelming victory, celebrities in B-town turned to social media to congratulate the Prime Minister and, amidst a host of congratulatory greetings, it was Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's wish to draw Warning. As we all know, Anurag Kashyap, director of Dev D, is known for his outspokenness and, in addition to warm greetings, Anurag had something else to say to the Prime Minister.
Calling himself "dissident" Prime Minister Modi, in his tweet, While Anurag congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the clear victory of Lok Sabha Elections 2019, he also asked Modi to tell him how treat all the disciples of Modi who celebrate this victory by threatening his daughter. Anurag's tweet looks like this: "Dear @narendramodi, sir. Congratulations on your victory and thank you for the inclusion message. Sir, tell us also how we treat those supporters who celebrate your victory by threatening my daughter with messages like this, which makes me your dissenter. Along with the tweet, Anurag Kashyap added the image of a comment from one person on his daughter's photo and commentary included many abusive remarks directed against Anurag and her daughter. Anurag is a critic of Modi and often, Kashyap uses social media to express his distress with Modi. Recently, Kashyap, along with other artists, signed a letter asking people to vote out of BJP's power.
Anurag is currently working on Saand Ki Aankh with Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar and a few months earlier, the filmmakers had completed the filming.
