After a thrilling fight, Kofi Kingston defeated Daniel Bryan and won his first WWE title, proudly proclaiming his time.

Kingston and his team, New Day, are very much followed by fans in India. Xavier Woods and Big E., his teammates at New Day, joined them and thanked their Indian fans for their continued support. "It's amazing, there have been a lot of ups and downs but you're here today as your new WWE Champion.I say we because without Xavier Woods and Big E nothing n & n. Would have been possible, so we are the new WWE champions, "said Kingston.
The new WWE champion took his fans by surprise by declaring "Apna time aayega", a popular phrase from Ranveer Singh's recent success Gully Boy . "We love you, India, and we appreciate all the support you have given Kofi for his match," added Big E.

Kofi Kingston stole the show at WrestleMania 35 by defeating Daniel Bryan. The fight between Kofi and Bryan was brutal and failed. But crowd favorite Kofi lived up to his reputation after being beaten and injured by Bryan to win in front of a large crowd at MetLife Stadium.
Recently, New Day arrived in Mumbai as part of the very first WWE India Trials.
