Actor Arjun Kapoor remembered his mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor, on the occasion of her death anniversary, with a sincere note. Arjun shared a regression picture with his mother and wrote: "You were my smile and I hope that wherever you are, I make you smile again … it's been 7 years since you left us and everything that your son asks you to come back, please. "Mona succumbed to cancer in 2012, while Arjun was waiting for the release of his debut album in Bollywood, Ishaqzaade.
Arjun's sister, Anshula, also published a sincere note for Mona. "Time does not change anything. I love you and miss you every day. 7 years we felt your hugs, heard laugh or hold your hand. You already have the impression of being forever, but you must continue to continue, make yourself proud every day, you must continue to feel your love with each of our heartbeat. #AlwaysAndForever, "she wrote and posted an old photo of two of them.
Speaking of his mother, Arjun had said earlier: "She (Mom Mona) looked in front of her. It is thanks to her that we have solved the problem without ever losing contact with the family. We could have been bitter. It's natural for a single parent to protect themselves, but it has let us fly. I do not think I would be the person I am without this experience.
Mona was the first wife of Boney Kapoor; the film producer is later married with Sridevi. After Sridevi's death in February of last year, Arjun and his sister Anshula supported Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor.
Addressing Hindustan Times in October of last year, Arjun had stated, "It's my job to be a good son for my dad. and the byproduct of that is that I managed to find two other sisters; they allow me to call them my sisters and it is very generous of them.
