After months of turmoil, political tension finally calmed down in the country. Yesterday, BJP won a landslide victory under the leadership of Narendra Modi. Responding to her, Ashoke Pandit said: "Today is the day when #WhiteCollaredTerrorists, #UrbanNaxals, #TukdeTukdeGang are destroyed and
breathed. History, geography, mathematics – all will not be
discussed in the sense defined by #UrbanNaxals. "
Ashoke Pandit's response came with reference to Swara's support for Begusarai's candidate, Kanhaiya Kumar.
Members of the Indian film fraternity, including veterans like Asha Bhosle and Rajinikanth, congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the BJP-led coalition won a landslide victory in the Lok Sabha elections.
In addition to Asha Bhosle and Rajinikanth Young talents like Sonu Sood, Varun Dhawan and Riteish Deshmukh also congratulated Modi on his "fantastic victory."
