Avengers Endgame – What do the visions of Thor's Age of Ultron tell us?

The resounding success of Marvel Cinematic Universe can partly be explained by an incredible degree of organization on the part of Marvel Studios' president, Kevin Feige, and his team.

The disparate elements of 20 films (and that count) were badembled as a clock, most of the time, with pay wires for years all along the line. All this planning is well under way in Avengers: Endgame which promises to conclude not only phase 3 of Marvel, but also 11 years and 22 narration films.

The visions (not to be confused with The Vision) that our heroes experienced in 2015 Avengers: Age of Ultron are a common thread that still seems outstanding. While some may be just hallucinations, fans still can not help coming back to striking footage. Could any of them hold clues to the mysterious events of Endgame ?

The Vision of Iron Man

The visions of Thor

He sees four Infinity Stones (Time and Soul not appearing in the MCU at this stage) and the outline of Thanos & # 39; Infinity Gauntlet, and hear Ultron warn of "extinction". It seems pretty clear now that it was a warning about Thanos using the Infinity Stones at the end of Infinity War . The new knowledge of Thor's stones leads him to leave the Avengers and to travel the universe in search of magical marbles, ultimately unsuccessful.

"I had a vision," said Thor later in Age of Ultron . ]. "It's a whirlpool that engulfs all hope of life and is in the center of it," and he points the mental stone at the forehead of Vision that has just been born.

Although Thor hopes Vision can reverse the power of stone. Thanos finally uses it to erase half of the life in the universe. His presentiment that the mental stone is at the center of this joyous "whirlwind engulfing all hope of life" indicates that the stones of infinity are ultimately forces of destruction and can not be used to cancel the actions of Thanos?

Thor's visions clearly warn about the threat of stones, but is this threat removed or will the survivors of Infinity Snap still be threatened by their power?
